Mobius Institute - Vibration Analysis

Do you need to become a certified vibration analyst, but find it inconvenient leave your work (or family) to travel?  Are you uncertain of how successful you may be taking an online course?  Mobius Institute has a complete solution for you, that addresses these concerns.  Mobius Institute offers ISO 18436 Category I, II and III Vibration Analyst training delivered by means of Internet-based, online (or distance) learning courses.  Our online training provides the same in-depth training we deliver in our live courses, using the very same compelling 3D animations and vibration analysis simulators that make complex concepts more understandable and delivered in a way that the training is more memorable than other provider’s training.  You study on your own time, repeat lessons if needed, and optionally at the end of your course, you can take the certification examination to achieve your certification according to ISO 18436.  So attending a course becomes easy, and you can save travel cost and time away from your home and family.

Online Distance Learning

Mobius Institute online courses are offered at the ISO Category I, II and III levels. (Category IV courses are blended, where it is mandatory that half is taken through distance learning and half is in a live classroom venue). Each online lesson has been carefully created and edited so that you receive the full benefit exactly as you would in a live class. You will see the instructor talking and see the presentations, 3D animations and simulators being used in high resolution. For more information about the content provided in our ISO CAT-I, II or III online courses, please download one of the brochures that follow:

The Mobius Institute Category I course is the ideal starting place for new vibration analysts, people collecting vibration data, and those who want a better understanding of vibration analysis and condition monitoring.

Is intended for people who have mastered the basics but who need to be able to take good data (and decide how the data collector should be set up), analyze a range of fault conditions, and understand balancing and alignment.

If you wish to truly advance in vibration analysis and be able to run a successful condition monitoring team, then you are ready for this course.

Distance Learning – The primary focus of this course is advanced signal processing, cross channel measurements, dynamics (mass/stiffness/damping, natural frequencies, modes), resonance testing (run-up/coast down tests, impact tests, ODS, modal…
