Shafts can’t be rotated? No problem! This bracket allows measurement and alignment to be performed when one or both shafts cannot be rotated. The magnetic sliding bracket is placed upon the back of the coupling or front corner of the uncoupled shaft and slid around from one measurement position to the next. Suitable for shaft/coupling diameters from approx. 80 mm (3 1/8″) on up. Bear in mind that good alignment results do depend upon a high-quality surface finish of shafts/couplings (and since the shafts are not rotated, the working axis of the machine shafts may not be determined with the same accuracy as otherwise). Delivered individually: order 2 pieces if neither shaft can be rotated.
